UNCERTAIN EAST. Circa 450-400 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 15.29 g, 6 h), imitating Athens. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. AΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. An unusual and very attractive imitation of lovely eastern style. Test cut on the obverse and some flatness, otherwise, about extremely fine.
